No denying that I live for colors but an occasional white outfit never hurts! Especially, when the silhouette is uber feminine and breaks one of the most obnoxious fashion rules of all times ‘ NO WHITE AFTER LABOR DAY ( September ) until MEMORIAL DAY ( May ) .’ While, I can present my own case against this rule, I am so glad no one follows it anymore. If you’d like to see these outfits in motion, check them out HERE.
I have been having major fun experimenting with bold silhouettes, thanks to my overly-boosted confidence due to my recent weight loss. For instance, this crochet romper. I would have never even tried it if it came out six months ago. Let’s give a shoutout to my newly sculpted body. With a slimmer waist and reduced bra bulge, I feel confident like never before. I am more open to trying out newer cuts and styles now.

GIRLY GIRL
This crochet white romper is a dream! The length is just right and I absolutely love the off-shoulder style. With a string neck tie, I was a worried about it snapping, but its so well-made. My girls were in place and I could wear a padded skinny bra inside.
Let’s talk a little about my headband. Well, some of you thought it was a DIOR headband. It is DIOR for sure, but it is the ribbon that came wrapped around my DIOR JADIOR shoe box. Now, this is some serious case of up-cycling… right !
BOHEMIAN
This one definitely has to be my favorite. A duster cape: this is how I like to add a pop of color to any plain outfit in spring/summer. The adjustable strap, the right length, the slimming cut and the figure flattering waist, makes it so desirable. I paired it with a pink jacket, some silver jewelry and a silk bandana for a more boho look, but this linen jumpsuit has so much style potential.
I got the duster jacket custom-made in India from a Satya Paul fabric that was last seen on me here. Six years ago when longer jackets were trending and everyone was waering them – I got mine made. I am so glad I held on to it coz these duster style coverups are always a staple during summers season.
ELEGANT
Okay, now this eyelet dress is ultimate! It has a fun story ( coming soon ) behind it and you will have to follow me on my travel page to hear that out. Unfortunately, this dress is sold out but I tried my best to link similar looking options below.
This outfit would be something I would wear for date night or may be dinner out with friends. White on white with some pearl accents via the headband make this look a dream.
Caring for your whites
If you enjoy wearing white but always worry about mishaps, staining or the after-care, here are simple tricks and tips for the best care possible.
– wash whites separately. Add hydrogen peroxide/baking soda to the wash to whiten and brighten your whites.
– use cold water to wash, this helps keep the fabric weave in shape
– try and air dry your whites.
– when putting on white clothes, wrap a towel around your head and then slide your white garment through. This will prevent any makeup from transferring onto your white clothing.
– to clean makeup from your collars, just wet that spot and wash with a dish soap- trust me it works.
– always carry this pen, it really helps remove smaller stains instantly.
