Dopamine, Transitional Color Combinations To Try This Spring, Link up

Every January Pantone announces the color of the year- it’s the announcement the entire world awaits. Once the color of the year has been declared, it sorta becomes the starting point of any dopamine dressing. While I usually care less, I will sometimes incorporate the color of the year into my outfits. This year the chosen color was Magenta ( a pinkish-purplish-red) and I wasn’t quite feeling it !

It is true that I live for bright, cheery colors, but Magenta didn’t really excite me! Instead, my head was stuck on Very Peri ( light purple ), Pantone color of 2022- hence my two outfits. I have been revelling in this eye-soothing color and the different color pairings around this. One such color combination that I was particularly looking to try was Lilac and Green. There is something about this color-combination that keeps me itching for it more and more.

In case you wanted to try a fresh pastel color-combination, these two outfits were meant to give you #OutfitInspo. One is stronger in lilac with the leather skirt, boots and coat situation going on, while the other is high on green. I bought the green pant set late last year and it’s the first time I am wearing it today. I guess it needed the right weather and vibe to make an appearance here.

Apart from the PURPLE & GREEN there are three other color combinations that are gaining traction amongst the fashionistas. While, we talked about Purple and Green together briefly, let’s quickly list the other three color combinations.

PINK & WHITE – a very feminine, transitional, eye-candy color combination. A must-try I would say !
ORANGE & PINK – this one is an other favorite of mine. A bright and bold color mix that never fails to wow you.
BROWN & BLUE – another one my faves.. Turquoise blue in particular looks phenomenal with brown.
