Linen Fits For Summer, How To Care For Linen

I always associate summer with linen and eyelet. This year linen has had a major comeback. It’s not only dresses and pants but silhouettes like bermuda shorts, crop tops, and blazers are also making rounds. I’ve bought quite a few linen pieces and the Bermuda short suit featured today is just one of them. I am the proud owner of this ruffle one shoulder dress, this pant set, this shorts suit set and many more that will show up here soon.

I would’ve never thought I would wear a Bermuda Shorts Suit set but when I saw this one- I had to give it a try. Honestly speaking, it wasn’t easy styling the set. I could’ve worn this set with some sneakers but the tricky pant length called for some heels. This is just one way I styled it, but I can’t wait to add more styling spin to this set.

CARING FOR YOUR LINEN CLOTHING

• In general linen is easy to maintain, but to ensure longer life- always hand wash or machine wash at a lower temperature. I would use Woolite for my washing detergent.
• If air drying is an option- go for it. If not then either tumble dry or dry at the lowest temperature possible. Too much heat can shrink your linen.
• Some like their linen crinkled but I like mine crease-free. I always use the steam setting to iron my limen clothing.
• When storing, always hang your linen clothing. This helps hold shape.
