Wedding season is here in full swing and I am super excited! Not only coz I am attending one myself, all the sartorial planning involved gives me such a rush. Couples who had put their weddings on hold in the pandemic are getting married. The wedding-planning industry is at an all time high. Good for the economy….right?
Anyways, if you are attending a beach wedding, below are some non-Indian outfits that could put possibly you in the best-dressed guest list ( if there was any).
OUTFIT 1: Aqua Pleated Jumpsuit // Paisley Printed Duster Jacket // Orange Sandals // White Purse
OUTFIT 2: White Lace Dress // Emerald Necklace
OUTFIT 3: Blue Fringe Dress // White Blazer // White Heels
beach wedding GUEST OUTFIT POINTERs
- Dress for the heat and breeze. It’s surely going to be hot during the day and slightly cooler when there is breeze. Make sure your dress is of proper length or you are wearing shorts inside- you don’t free show happening with the breeze. Carry a lightweight jacket just in case.
- Flowy dresses are the best. Anything that has a flow and some movement will make for great pictures.
- Pick colors that mimic aquatic. Think blues, greens, aquas. whites or even taupes and tans.
- Unless there is a dress code mentioned, it’s okay to wear white but add a twist- like in my case colorful jewelry. You don’t want to steal the thunder from the bride.
Hair, Makeup and Accessories pointers
- Either wear flat pretty sandals or wedges. I think a pair of heels with a chunky heel would fair well in the sand and not sink too much. Not entirely sure but you could give it a shot.
- For the hair, think soft beachy waves or an updo. Use a good anti-humidity spray that might help keep your tresses under control.
- Keep your makeup light and use mostly powder makeup. You’d want your makeup to last longer and stay matte.
- Bring a small Ratan clutch or woven bag that has side sling option-it will keep you hands-free.
