Happy Thanksgiving!
Today and everyday I am thankful for my family, friends, neighbors, sponsors, fans, followers, social-media family, and everyone in between. I would like to take a hot minute to thank every single one of you who makes my days worth looking forward to. Thanks for being there and thanks for steering my life in the right direction.
While these are the folks who will always be on my gratitude list, there are some unsolicited people I’m thankful for as well! People and things who we always take granted for. But, in retrospect, they are the life essentials that make our life beautiful and comfortable. So, I would like to take another hot minute to express my gratitude towards those folks and daily life things.
First and foremost, I am thankful for the MAIL MAN whose relentless efforts makes my life a breeze. Rain or shine, he is there every single day delivering my packages. Without him I won’t be sharing all the amazing stuff on my social platforms. Nothing stops him, not even my dog’s growls and barks, he just selflessly delivers and picks up my packages every day.
I’m thankful for the duster and cleaning supplies my cleaning lady left behind. Was it intentional or a mistake- I don’t care. At least it gives me some level of assurance that is she will be coming again. It gives me peace that my house will be throughly cleaned. I’ve had so many cleaning ladies come and go in the last couple years- it’s so stressful. I really hope the current one sticks around!
I’m thankful for the stack of Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons sitting in my coupon folder. Believe it or not, saving money on everything feels awesome. BBB is my go-to store for everything home-related. The best part is that these coupons never expire. So, next time you see an expired BBB coupon, don’t toss them in the garbage. Save them and use them without any trouble at the store.
I’m thankful for the single standing mum flower that survived all the recent frost bites. It’s a reminder of life, hope, uniqueness, viability, and proof that I don’t entirely I have a black thumb.
I’m thankful for all my working appliances at home. My washer/dryer and fridge broke during early pandemic days and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I was buying less fresh produce, hand washing my clothes daily- it was no fun. No body could come out to fix it or deliver a replacement- it was a nightmare. Hence, I’m grateful for all my new and working appliances.
I’m thankful for my cell phone and the internet provider. They kept me well connected to my family during pandemic. It was during pandemic I realized what a blessing it is to have a cell phone with a high-speed internet. We all struggled with slow internet but rarely and I’m really grateful for technology.
Last but not the least, I’m thankful for the food, the water, the clean air, the mask, the hand sanitizer and everything little thing in between.
