Gosh, it feels so good to be back to my blogging space! After a radio silence of two weeks, I feel exhilarated to be reunited with my little blogging family. I really don’t know why I was away, but this unplanned digital detox feels GOOD….I swear!
Anyways, Halloween is just around the corner and I had to share my Cruella rendition with you all. Ever since I saw the movie a couple weeks before I shot this, I had set my mind on this costume for Halloween. Truth be told, in fifteen years of my life in US, I had never worn a costume on Halloween. It was just once I wore a dress and floral tiara to portray Freida, but that was it!
I’m thankful for this partnership with Casillero Del Diablo wine that pushed me to think outside the box. I dressed up, went halloween shopping, baked those cupcakes and poured all my imagination in that tablescape. My first ever mini halloween party and I totally enjoyed it! I kept it strictly black, white and red and it all kind of came along.
So for my Cruella outfit, I went shopping into my own closet and I found that skirt and blouse set which was exactly the shade of red I was looking for. The luxe satin fabric looks all the more Cruella-appropriate. I bought that B&W wig here and it such a great quality. I’ve been spotting Cruella costumes on Instagram lately and the wigs look so cheap and tacky.
Overall, a costume that I didn’t mind as it was part DIY, part Amazon aka minimal spending.
Now it is your turn to share your favorite looks.

This is such a fabulous costume! I love Cruella and have wanted her hair to be my permanent hair for so long! You look amazing. And your Halloween tablescape is really brilliant!
