Jeans are arguably the most versatile and long-lasting piece of clothing in your closet. It is such an effortless piece that falling into the outfit-repetition trap is so easy. If I wasn’t a fashion blogger, I would be stuck wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans outfit uniform every single day. But thanks for my influencer side of the brain that refuses to settle for anything plain-Jane. So I’m sharing some ways you can wear your everyday uniform and still look like you’ve put some thought and effort into it.
My jeans and blouse are a gift from NYDJ. Honestly speaking, those jeans are the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever worn, buy they are not the most flattering pair I’ve ever owned. It could just be my body type which couldn’t make peace with that much stretch. The jeans does have a lot of stretch to it but way too much for my skinny legs. I like mine to fit tighter and not sagging around the knees and butt.

Anyways, I still love the comfort and pajama-like feel of it and had to share some styling ideas with you, because I enjoyed styling them nonetheless.
TUCK YOUR SHIRT IN: If you are comfortable doing so, tuck you shirt in, stretch your arms straight up to get that tucked part to loosen a bit and you’ve instantly mastered the mens-inspired look. Another way to make sure that your half tucked look stays put without looking poofy is by tucking your longer shirts under your bra- I swear ladies…. this works and holds the shirt tucked in for as long as you want.
ADD A BLAZER/JACKET: We all wear jeans and shirt but how do we actually style it? Well, you tuck your shirt in if you are comfortable doing it, but an untuck shirt looks fine too, you put on a buckle belt, throw over a long boyfriend blazer or a bomber jacket and voila- instant jean look upgrade!
CUFF YOUR JEANS: hail jean cuffing! I am a huge fan of cuffing anything and everything, especially my jeans as it adds volume to my otherwise skinny legs. I like mine rougher versus evenly, symmetrically folded. It just takes your jean to a whole new level of edgy meets chic.
TAKE IT UP A KNOT: boy oh boy… little did I know that a sleek top knot would change up may look so much. I there it in a jiffy, blame it entirely on the muggy weather, and did it work!
STACK YOUR ACCESSORIES: What can otherwise be a plain look can be take up a notch with some arm/ neck candy and eye candy. Play up your neck and arms with some jewelry stacking game. A neck scarf, a statement watch, big earrings, a cool pair of sunglasses- all of these are some easy ways to elevate your jeans outfit.
UP YOUR SHOE GAME: believe it or not your choice of footwear can make or break any look. Jeans is so versatile that you can wear pretty much any pair of shoes under the sun with it. However, I would suggest trying a pair that is in sync with your mood and vibe. I was feeling a bit edgy with the top knot, the big pair of sunglasses, hence those booties.

I absolutely love these jeans on you! The pairing of looser fitting denim with sleek heeled shoes is one of my favorite combinations and such a great way to dress up your denim game! The shirt is amazing, too. And I am dying over your booties! One of my favorite looks of yours!
