A woman can carry a bag, but it’s the shoes that carry her everywhere…
If you’ve been a regular visitor here you would probably know by know how much I love shoes! I have a fetish for shoes and if 275 pairs is considered a collection- then I do have a shoe collection. I would probably have had more shoes but these days I’ve become quality and comfort conscious, and hence have given away, donated, sold a lot of my priced pairs.
I’ve tried and worked with so many shoe brands in the past but I never shared my favorite brands with you all. Brands that I adore, I buy more often and brands that are more on the affordable side- I’ve rounded up five of my favorites below.
1. STEVE MADDEN
It is one of the brands I was introduced to very early on in my days as a newbie in the US shopping world. It was the first brand I bought shoes from after I came to US. My love for this edgy brand has been unwavering and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for cool footwear. They are pretty affordable and I would give them a 8 on a scale of 10 in the comfort department.

This is the most supportive shoe brand I’ve ever bought. The black strappy sandals that you see on me are from Vionic Shoes and you could shop the other colors HERE. What makes this brand special is their contoured sole structure- the sole is contoured in a way to give you full arch support thereby alleviating any heel pain and pressure. I fell in love with this brand the second I tried em on- uber comfortable and stylish at the same time.
3. M.GEMI
This happens to be another favorite brand of mine that I was introduced to very recently. M.Gemi hosted a brunch for bloggers event a couple years ago and it was a pleasure learning about this Italian brand. Every shoe is handcrafted in Italy and the quality, comfort and style is always remarkable. I shared my newest pair from M.Gemi HERE and you should shop all the 13 other colors and other shoes HERE. They are slightly on the higher side price wise but with SAUMYA60 you could get $60 off your first order making it affordable.
If you are in the market for fancy, stylish, trendy, affordable footwear, then no look no further- Aldo shoes is the brand you need. I am Aldo-Obsessed. I have so many pairs from Aldo and most of them still look as new. Not only cuz I take good care of all my shoes, their shoes are a good quality for the price indeed. I wouldn’t say their shoes are the best when talking about comfort, but 7 on 10 is what I would give them which is still an acceptable number.
Not exactly a shoe brand, but I really have a soft corner for Zara’s shoe collection. There is a never a pair that I don’t desire to own. Zara is always on point with their collection and style and their price range is so-so affordable. Most of their shoes is under $100, only the seasonal ones like boots and party heels can be a bit high on the price scale. It is a hit or a miss when it comes to comfort, but sometimes there is no gain without slight pain…. what say?
