Athleisure has become an integral part of every fashion girl’s quarantine wardrobe. Be it leggings, joggers, or even biker shorts- every girl I am sure now owns a handful of these. It’s all about cooping in comfort these days.
Honestly speaking, I don’t do off-duty athletic wear, cuz athletic wear as the name implies is meant to be either worn at the gym or when doing any athletic activity. Any place where sweating is not involved, athletic wear should be banned from being seen. It took me quite some time to acclimatize to this trend but when I did I was hooked.
Athleisure trend is an elevated version of your everyday athletic wear. It is like taking your athleticstyle to the next level, off-duty style, which might entail sweatpants sans sweatshirt, instead a blazer or a button down, somewhat like I’m wearing. I have to admit that I don’t own a single sweatshirt , enter- blazers that are my take on sweatshirts and I never miss a chance at wearing one. I wear blazers with just about everything in my closet and I had to wear one with the biker shorts as well. I I had to throw on a pair of killer vinyl heels which I’m glad are going places as a spring trend this year too.
This trend has no set rules. You can mix and match your athletic pieces to create numerous looks. While wearing your biker shorts with a boyfriend blazer might be a thing, there a few different ways you can incorporate your athletic wear into your everyday style.
- pair your sweatpants with a denim jacket layered over a tee.
- wear your joggers with a crisp white-buttondown / t-shirt and high heels.
- rock a sports bra under a dungaree or pinafore dress/pants.
- if you are bold then go bare: team your sports bra with a pair of printed trousers and bammmm!

You have styled this trend perfectly! I still have not been able to make the transition to dressing up athletic wear. I love it on other people, but I am just comfortable in it myself. Your shoes are amazing and I love this outfit head to toe! Brilliant.
