“Eat like you love yourself. Move like you love yourself. Speak like you love yourself. Act like you love yourself and dress like you love yourself.”
In no way am I trying to advocate selfism but self-love is very important. The way you love yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have. The more loved, cared-for and secured you’ll feel, the more love, care and security you’ll be able to give. I have been and plan to propagate self-love throughout February. Big or small, day or night, find what make you happy, what keeps you motivated and what celebrates you everyday.

Self-love has no boundaries, it is a very personal thing. Little things like a hot oil-message, ten pages of uninterrupted reading, ordering, Chinese take-out on a weekday night, anything that makes you feel rested is self-love. To me self-love is smelling pretty flowers or just wearing it on my head, donning a bright lip, twirling carefree in a girly-girl tiered dress and being my own Valentine. So, cheers to another day of self-love and everything pretty little thing that follows.
What is self-love to you, what makes you feel rested? What is that one thing that you had been wanting to do for very long, but did not have the time or courage to do?
Congratulations to Karen of Lady in Violet, she is the featured blogger of the week.
Now it is your turn to share your favorite looks.

You are stunning, my friend! And this gorgeous dress is equally so. Self love is so important. I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a 10 day solo road trip visiting friends. I am super excited!
