How many times have you stepped out of the house, done all your work, came home just to realize ‘that the price tag of your blouse was still attached??’ Well, I am guilty of this one and I would like you to raise your hand if you are guilty of the above or any of the following fashion and lifestyle habits….
1) are you guilty of visible contour lines?? : it was just about the other day, I was waiting at the traffic signal to cross the road and that I saw a savvily- dressed attractive women, waiting across on the other side. I won’t deny that I enjoy people-watching, specially when they are dressed impressively. So I watched this girl walk towards me as the signal turned green, all beautiful and flawless from a distance. But as she came closer, I could see her contour lines to the point, where I could count the no of contour lines. As she passed by me, my thoughts were” oh lord, can someone please bring a beauty blender and rescue her from the makeup blunder….” !
2) are you guilty of leaving your price tags attached?: happened to me a few times. Once I left the ‘size 27’ sticker on my jeans, without even realizing, until Ribhya pulled it out in the evening, after I came back from work…I’ll blame it entirely on that transparent ticket, they just camouflage.
3) are you guilty of wearing torn tights? – one morning right before leaving for work, I wore an A-line mini skirt, a matching sweater and a pair of black tights and raced to Ribhya’s room to make her hair. Thereafter I fixed my hair, threw on my boots and headed out. As soon as I sat in the car, I noticed a small hole in my tights. As there was no time to change, I pulled my tights a tad bit up to hide the rip and drove to work. To my surprise every time I would stand, the hole would stretch out. Eventually the hole got so bad, that I had to get rid of the tights at work and come back home with frozen-gams.
4) are you guilty of leaving the skirt/jacket vent stitches untouched? – What is it? An ‘X’ of thread that seals the vent on your blazer or hem of the skirt. It is an easy fix- just snip the thread and pull it out gently, so as not to damage the fabric. Call me a fashion police but I have a major problem with people leaving the vent stitches untouched, to an extent that on several occasions I’ve stopped strangers on the streets to pull out the stitches. I am not guilty of this one but my husband is.
5) are you guilty of leaving your kitchen sink loaded with dishes? – it happened more frequently in my first few weeks of starting work. It took sometime for my body to get acclimated to the slogging, and hence leaving dirty dishes in the sink, unattended, became like a habit. Blame it on the hard work and tired body…, when both come together, overloaded sink becomes a frequent sighting.
6) are you guilty of losing your official documents over and over ? – Well, I know a person, a friend, who has lost his passport not once, not twice, but four times….can anyone beat that ??? Knock wood, I don’t want to jinx it, but I am very particular about my stuff. I would go beyond my capacity to make sure things are put back in the right spot after every use. This saves time and keeps your life organized when in a rush.
How many are you guilty of? Is there any other habit of yours or others’ that you find extremely annoying?

Guilty of being way too hard on myself. Sometimes it's okay to be guilty of certain things, we have to give ourselves a break! Love the outfit!
