Hello Beautiful people!
It was so heartfelt when one of my readers reached out to me saying that “I looked tired and that glow was missing in my last post HERE.” It was that moment when I felt that my readers really cared for me, my content and their concern for me was genuine. Trust me folks, it took me less than a second to get all teary. She was so on point for empathizing with my recent lifestyle change that has been nothing but stressful. She heard me without me saying anything.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just that yours truly landed her first full-time job, YES my first full-time job at the age of 36 and it has been a real hustle. I had never worked all these years, not even in college. Fresh out of college, I got married and moved here. I started working part-time only a couple years ago, and full-time only a couple months ago. It has been a whirlwind of work, meetings, phone calls, emails, late office hours, sleepless nights and everything in between. The struggle has been real.
Monday through Friday I manage a commercial building, Saturdays I manage my blog and Sundays I manage my family and house chores. Honestly, there has been no time to manage myself for the last few weeks. I was feeling it and now my readers do too. I understand that this transition is temporary and soon I’ll have a regular week when I’ll be back home on time, have my evening tea, help Riri with her homework, shower her, eat dinner peacefully and sleep for a good eight hours. Right now it’s thirteen work hours, loads of coffee and five hours of sleep that I am running on, but no complains- this girl loves the hustle.
So the next time you feel the lack of energy in my posts, blame it on my crazy work schedule, those sleepless nights, my untamed eyebrows that have been begging to get threaded, my skin that has been bearing all the grunt, the cold weather that has left me Vitamin-D deprived and the stomach bug that has had me for the last few days.

You are looking absolutely fabulous in this outfit. I do love the colours. My daughter is a fan of 'Joanie' clothing and buys a lot of her wardrobe from there. No one would guess you are exhausted. Love – Jill x
