Summer of Likes is an annual event exclusively for their VIP reward members. A handful of retailers come together to make this event special with their fun activations, giveaways, swag bags and special rewards for members only. So if you are not on their list, you gotta register here right away for all the future events.
For us the morning started with a welcome note by Randy, director of marketing and business development for Clarksburg Premium Outlets ( pictured below ). He briefed us on the program details and handed out some Gift Cards too, yes you heard it right- we were given GC to shop with.
My first stop was Tory Burch. Here I registered for the program and was also given my personal rewards wrist band. They had a super cute floral cart where the associate greeted me with some sweet treats. Tory Burch outlets are known to house the collection that you might find at the retail stores for a slightly hiked price. So if you are looking for something from the current collection, you might want to check the outlets before you pull the trigger at the retail location. You never know when you might hit a jackpot. The 50% off footwear and 40% off everything else was too good to pass and this shoeaholic had to pick out a pair ( pictured below ).
Next stop was Tommy Hilfiger. There was a tattoo station set up right outside the store and I had to get inked, one that was going to last me a week- but never mind! In conjunction to this were special discount codes especially for Summer of Likes invitees. I picked out a pair of white denim, a few blouses to go with it and some socks bundles for Riri. The shoes, pictured below, were 60% off, luring enough but I refrained ( insert sad face ) !
Soon after Tommy, I took a lunch break to fuel me up for the second half of my shopping expedition. There was quiches, bagels, wraps, fruits, salad and crepes and mimosas too!
Calvin Klein was next on the shopping destination list. Talk to me about their uber cool red lemonade cart, at your service to cool you down with their strawberry lemonade and berry iced tea. I went for the berry iced tea. They had storewide sale with upto 70% markdowns. I ended up buying a pair of track pants and some t-shirts, each for mere $20. Ain’t that some deal????
I am not going to lie, ” it has been a while I shopped at the Adidas store.” I was stoked to see how this store has transformed sartorially over these years. First thing that caught my eye was the palm print pink track pant and t-shirt set, and did I mention the matchy-matchy bomber jacket !!! These pieces were already marked down with an extra 30% off. Luckily, the store had my size in each piece. Did I buy this set or not ??? You will have to come back here tomorrow to see it for yourself.
Last stop was Under Armour- my family’s favorite store. This is one store where we all including Riri shop. If they ever open up an opportunity for a family to become their brand ambassador, I am sure my family will be an outstanding contender- take my words! The entire store was an extra 40% and to top it off and to make this deal even sweeter, the SA gave me an extra $5 off coupon. I bought a full workout set for myself, a few workout T-shirts for hubs and a few other goodies for Riri, all for just under a hundred bucks- win win for the entire family!
To sum it all: I had a blast shopping the stores and their awesome deals and enjoyed partaking the participating vendors activations. It was a successful shopping haul and you have to come back again tomorrow to see the two looks that I created for Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
