It appears I have a soft corner for wide-leg jeans/pants. First this, then this and now this: I am definitely developing a crush on the wide-leg easy-peasy comfy dressing.
What’s up with this fickle weather!!!! We have had highest snowfall recordings in the past few days, making it even chillier than normal. Feels like we skipped spring and summer this year and landed head on in brutal winter 2018. I might not be there to witness all of it at this moment, but when we return to DC this Friday, we will be welcomed with snow and slush.
It is 105 degrees Fahrenheit here in Nagpur ( India ) and I am dreading being outside. How can people act or at least pretend to act normal and unaffected by the sweltering heat?? How can they not sweat and go haywire mentally??? They are happy and functioning as normal, whereas I am stuck indoors, glued to my TV with air conditioning on full blast.
I generally don’t comment or bring up political issues on the blog, but I would definitely like to voice my views on the recent Florida high school massacre and the subsequent outrage amongst the general public. In case you aren’t aware, a major gun firing happened at a Florida High school past February, killing 17 high-school students and injuring several others. This event has enraged students and initiated a wave of fear in fellow Americans, and ever since there have been several marches including the “MARCH FOR OUR LIVES’ that took place past Saturday. I completely agree that ‘gun laws’ are really liberal here in the USA and procuring a gun is no big of a deal. But when people start to abuse it, someone has to intervene and I proudly support the students who made this daring move to call out. It is time the Government needs to step up and do something fast and before civilians take the matters into their own hands. What do you say???
