As much as I would love to wear and own more traditional Indian clothing, it really doesn’t make sense, coz of the rare chances I get to wearing em. Despite this bleakness, I don’t miss a chance at buying Indian clothing whenever I am in India. I buy pieces in a way that each individual item from that particular outfit can be mix-matched and worn in several other ways.
For instance, my outfit for Diwali was a concoction of three different pieces, from three different outfits.

- the skirt is actually a maxi skirt, that I’ve worn several times on the blog, in several different combinations: here, here, and here.
- the kurta ( tunic) was a custom made piece, coordinated with a lehnga and undeniably inspired by this look.
- the mirror laser cut vest was another custom made piece from a budding designer in Kolkata. It actually came as a layering piece over a maxi dress. This intricate piece is so versatile that I’ve worn with jeans and culottes and skirts too and it looks equally fab as it looks today.
I am liking what I see, what do you think of this look ???
Have great day loves….
