Now that Labor Day is gone, it’s time to think about fall and ways to transition your summer wardrobe into fall. But don’t you worry, I have your back covered, just follow these simple rules:
- consider trenches and trench vests– these are by-far the easiest transitional pieces. Not only does it keep you warm, but also adds the touch of classy and feminism to any look. Ditch the old-school beige/tan this year and try one in denim !!
- go for satin– now is the time to pull out your satin clothing, before it starts to cling to your skin, owing to the winter static. Summer is too hot to be wearing satins and silks, but fall is the most desirable weather for experimenting with fabrics and silhouettes !!!
- think one-piece– honestly, as much as I am worried about the bathroom woes pertaining to this one-piece-closet-wonder jumpsuit, I am in love with the versatility of it. It is a closet staple and can be easily transitioned from day to night and weather to weather.
- go bold or go home – last but not the least, go bold with your lipstick: think dark burgundy, dark plum, rich shades of purple and reds too.
What are your rules for transitioning your summer wardrobe into fall ??
