Happy Monday Lovelies!
We have had a few good warm days, and getting to wear this skirt without tights feels so blissful. The recent 80 degree fall temps is surely the calm before the storm- when the cold breaks in, I am darn sure it will with full vengeance.
Whatsoever, not worrying about the future, I am glad we had these warmer days and everyone seems to making the best of it. If you remember the sleeveless trench from this post, I would like to bring your attention once again to the same online retailer- Dresslink! This skirt was a gift from them, and adding it to my closet was a sartorially-worthy decision. I always wanted a flared midi skirt in a bolder print and this skirt was the one. It is made of a thick silk-like fabric and the wide pleating in the front gives the right amount of fullness- just the way I like it to be. Just for reference- I am wearing a size medium.
Wearing a full midi skirt on a petite frame can be overwhelming, but if worn with open toes ( the idea is to show some skin) and skinnier body-fitted tops, a skirt this full can actually work. A monochromatic look is another way to make this silhouette work for any body type, and bonus- it’s slimming…. I chose to go monochromatic and honestly -” I am loving it” !!! It is chic, well-put and a fall charmer. What do you think of this look ???
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
XO
