As a fashion blogger I am constantly striving to find ways to get the most of my ( in turn for you too) everyday closet. As much as I hate to admit that blogging gives you shopping tendencies, occasionally I try to resist those ransack temptations. It can be quite a challenge when your work-world revolves around fashionable people and commodities. Having said that, I feel when I am transitioning any such temporary no-shopping phase, my sartorial finesse just gets over the top.
Okay now enough blowing my own horn, let’s shift gears to the idea behind today’s post: I have curated a collection of three different looks, all wearing the same blouse and skirt, but for three different occasions. One is for running around town, the second is for a lunch meeting with a client, and the last one is for a dinner date with friends. If you look closely, all the three looks are just about the accessories-change-game, mainly shoes and bag. Keeping the outfit same, I have used different accessories for that effortless transition from day to desk and then dinner. There is no doubt that accessories make or break a look, but having a vision for the right pieces is the key. With the strategic use of ’em achieving any look can be a breeze.
My running around town outfit is simple. Pairing it with a bright bag adds the pop of color and the rhinestone flats sandals make the outfit nothing but edgy..
To make this outfit lunch-with-a-client appropriate, I threw on a black blazer with some leather detailing. The shoes and the matching bag make the look more office-conservative.
Taking my look up a notch and making it ready for dinner date with friends, I coupled the look with a fancy necklace, a killer pair of heels and BABY C ( my new Chanel Bag ) stepped in to finish the look.
The date night look is my personal favorite, which one is yours ??????
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
XO
