Happy Monday Lovelies!
Do you ever have moments wherein your mind wanders and tries to seek answers to questions like “why does this color go only with that color, or why does a particular thing have to be worn a particular way, or why do I have to stick to fashion rules that so don’t apply to me or my body?” Such thoughts may be fleeting, but have you ever pondered as to why these fashion rules are set. Well, whereas a chunk of these rules are meant to guide your fashion decisions, on the other hand, the remaining few are meant for just turning back on them. Rules that disagree with your body/temperament type, will always be meaningless in your style dictionary. For instance, ‘the no white after labor day’ rule is so cliched, that no one really approves of it anymore. And my outfit today, is a clear translation of this disapproval. White is neutral, timeless and universally appealing. How can someone set this color apart?
Whatsoever, I have worn white in summer and will continue doing the same in winter, no matter what the fashion bible states. No offense to anyone, but rules are sometimes meant to be broken and there is a underlying fun,, that is harmless by all means. Lol !
