Happy Monday Lovelies!
Speaking of dressing on chilly winter days, I generally have no grievances of the sort. Getting my daughter in a few warm layers is a challenge but the same is a breeze when it comes to me. A sweater and an overcoat with a pair of tights/jeans comprises my winter uniform on any given day and that’s pretty much it. But this one today, I totally misjudged.
Tricked by the bright sun, I wore this wide-knit turtleneck with a mini skirt and a pair of tights, totally underestimating the occasional bone-chilling winds. Finishing this photo-shoot seemed like a long-haul on this windswept morning. Both Tanvi and I were desensitized to the point where it literally took us an hour indoors, to feel our hands and toes. I could have worn the jacket I used as a prop here but thanks to my recently acquired blogger genes, that makes me do all sorts of insane and daring. So contrary to my any no-grievance-winter day, I just kept abusing the winds ( no verbal mentions though ) and my sartorial efficiency that had gone haywire, pertaining to the freezing temps. I would have never dared to it, had it not been for the blog…….it was that freakin cold, seriously !
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
XO
