This look might be of no interest to my non-Indian readers, but as a blogger who has to cater to a multi-cultural viewer, I decided to dedicate this week to my Indian readers who have been long requesting me to share some Indian looks on the blog.
Past weekend was a good opportunity to wear and share some Indian looks, as I was attending an Indian wedding. Since Indian weddings are a minimum of three day festivities, I left no stones and no Indian clothing I stow here in US unturned, and took all troubles of two to three outfit changes each day. As a result of which I have traditional looks in abundance to deliver to your feed. But keeping in mind the future interest of my non-Indian readers, this will be the last [after yesterday’s post] and the best traditional look post so far.
I wore this gorgeous sari to the cocktail reception. Needless to mention that ‘thank you‘ was the most used word of my evening. Regardless of what others thought of it, I love this sari. The subtle shimmer, the intricate crystal work, the sensuous blouse, the makeup , the jewelry, the bindi …. overall capture the essence of this true Indian at heart.
Congratulations to Jane from Torontoshopoholicblog.com, she is the featured blogger of the week.
Now it is your turn to show what you got….
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
XO
