I bought this dress a couple weeks ago when J.Crew was running one of their rarest extra 50% off sale items promotion in the store. Oblivious of the difficulties I would face in taking pictures of this dress, I kept bragging to hubby about this fabulous fashion score for only $25. An eyelet shift dress , in a cool summer color and that to from J.Crew and for only $25……..well I had all the reasons to take the grandstand !
Anyways, I wore this dress ( sans heels ) to the #smithsonianfolkfestival past weekend. It was the perfect day, with lots of sunshine and temperatures soaring in the upper 90’s, to take this cool and comfy dress out on a whirl. I had no clue that the dress would whiteout in the sun’s high exposure. I We tried all possible camera settings, all potential locations but all in vain, until we reached this gazebo that you see in the backdrop. Not the best location for a photo shoot but at least it served the purpose. Thanks to whoever put it up, for whatever reason but my job was accomplished.
So let me present to you…..drumroll please…. my green monochromatic look. Painstakingly, I was able to get just this handful here, rest being over-exposed.. So sorry for the lack of enough pictures and excuse me for the missing green footwear……… I really had no intentions of looking like Kermit the frog….lol !
I’M WEARING
