Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 Light/Medium– I am thankful to my Sephora SA for having introduced me to this skin-changing foundation. My skin with make up on has never felt this good. With cooler weather gone, I was in the market for a new foundation that was warmer-weather-perfect. One that was a non-greasy cream based formula with moisturizing and illuminating benefits, provided a medium coverage and had SPF too. This product was the answer to all my problems. It meets all my requirements in a foundation. Use it just as for a day look or under a foundation powder for a heavier look, either ways you will be ecstatic at the results.
For reference I am using light to medium .
Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes SPF 15-Medium– I got this under eye concealer/ highlighter to go under my foundation. Like any other expensive eye concealer, this one has similar transformational effect but at a fraction of the price. It has an easy to use brush applicator, but gentle dabbing with ring finger is recommended. This helps to smooth out any fine visible concealer lines. It instantly opens up tired looking eyes. I would recommend this to everyone specially that it has SPF properties.
It comes in 3 different shades and for reference I am a medium.
Urban decay ultra definition loose finishing powder – All this while I had been using a translucent ( white ) powder to set my make up but using a skin perfecting pigmented loose powder never occurred to me until my Sephora SA recommended this. I was smitten by at its ability to minimize the appearance of pores without actually clogging them. The end look was flawless. Again use it over the BB cream or as is.
For reference I am using a naked medium .
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder– I wasn’t intending to buy this one but couldn’t say no to it either, when it rang up free under the Sephora 100 point perk program. I am glad I bought this bronzing powder. I have tried a few other bronzing powders but this one has proven the best so far. It is a couple of shades darker than my skin color and is subtle enough to be used as an all-over-face bronzer. If you are in the market for a bronzer, don’t hesitate to buy this.
FOR MY LIPS ( LEFT TO RIGHT )
Maybelline New York Color Sensational High Shine Gloss ( Raspberry Reflections) – A high shine lip gloss without a gooey-sticky effect…...an ideal summer lip gloss formula . This one glides on smooth and gives a soft shine with a hint of pink color. This one has become my go-to gloss that never ceases to impress me.
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm ( 245 Audacious) – As it’s factory name, a neonish orange hue for summer might sound like an audacious choice for lips, but trust me once you try it, you will get hooked. It is a matte formula but shows through without over drying your lips. Depending on how intense you want your lips, you could use the dab and apply technique a couple of times. I like mine dry and bright so I apply atleast a couple of coats. I have to confess of my obsession with this line from Maybelline and I bought another shade from this line. < see how I wore it >
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm ( 220 Showy )– My motto when shopping for this gloss was ‘ if the shoe fits, buy it in every color‘. Since the neon orange (above) fit both my preference and pocket, I bought it in the neon pink too. A pale neon, matte finish pencil that is sure to look good on any skin, now holds a special compartment in my everyday bag. < see how I wore it >
SEPHORA COLLECTION Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color- Mulberry – It applies wet but dries out matte. A richly-hued matte lipstick couldn’t have been any better. The shade in particular is more fall, but when worn right could be a ravishing option for a night out. < see how I wore it >
