Happy Monday lovelies !
Can’t believe it has been a year since I wore this dress. On the first day of my last year’s India trip, I wore this dress and got a load of compliments all along. This dress has it’s own sweet story and with all intentions of resharing it with you, may I direct you here.
Anyways, this dress made it’s way through the high traffic ( clothing ) volume in my closet and accompanied us to the Father’s day picnic by the Gravelly point park. It was a last minute plan to have a no-cooking-involved aka chipotle to-go, kind of lunch by this awesome park that overlooked the National Airport. We were awestruck by the ear-splitting experience of watching the Boeing jets fly a couple hundred feet overhead…..now how often would you see that ???
Since it was going to be in the upper 90’s with lots of sunshine which meant more skin tanning, I decided to thrown on this horse print kimono cover-up and my recent-favorite fedora, with the sole purpose of avoiding any further tan. Also, I love how the jacket gives an interesting flair to an otherwise plain-Jane dress.
I have to admit that this hidden treasure ( the dress) got me thinking about other old pieces in my closet that sure need a galloping push from the abandoned side of my closet to the sought-after side of it !
What do you think ????
