Happy Tuesday ya’ll !

Hope you all had a great long weekend !

I was in NYC past weekend……but my stay wasn’t pleasant one. The purpose of this visit which started as a surprise birthday weekend for my cousin ended with some serious business at the ER. Don’t worry, everything is okay now and we were able to get back home late last night.

My husband’s niece, the birthday boy’s sister from Alaska, who has been battling cancer for the past year and a half had to be admitted to the ER on Saturday. I don’t consider it appropriate to discuss her health situation here coz it would only make my heart weep more. All I have to say is that she is a fighter and each day is a blessing for her. She is still in the hospital but her situation is well under control. She is scheduled to be released tomorrow but would need a longer time for recovery.

In the midst of all this, I wasn’t able to get any pictures pertaining to today’s theme, so I used some from my archives. Accept my sincere apologies for this but the link up party will still go on. So get your looks together and shine on !
