Boy oh boy, it seems like forever that I went missing from the blog. I do owe you all an apology for the three blogging days I was away. We all have blah days and weeks, last week for sure was one of that kind. East coast was under a severe winter storm influence, that brought around a foot of snow in our area. Everything was laden in mounds of white fluffy snow. It did feel like a enchanting winter wonderland, but after a while that was getting on my nerves as it left all of us stranded indoors. Schools, offices, restaurants, local businesses, you name it and it was shut down.
Whatsoever we managed to wade through, to the restaurant for a formal dinner date on valentines evening. Friday was more of Kapil and Saumya kind of evening, with dine and wine. Saturday was dedicated to celebrating valentines, Ribhya’s way. We watched a kids movie, ate lunch at her favorite restaurant, played in the snow and called it a day. Since it was sort of a romantic getaway, I decided to dress up a bit. Nothing speaks more romantic and sexy than soft flowy blouse and fur duo. I chose to wear head-to-toe neutral with the green shoes to add the pop of color. The playful mix of textures add the interest quotient to this outfit. I kept the make up neutral with just some kohl liner. I could have donned some bright lips, but sticking to the self-assumed toned down dress code for a theater, I gave that a pass. Bright lips or not, we still had a blast over the weekend.
