After sharing my 2013 resolutions with you guys, I feel directly accountable to you all. You all ought to know how efficiently I am trying to change my lifestyle to stick to the preset goals.. This post was meant to be published on the 1st of feb but since it was our 7th year anniversary weekend, we were out on a mini getaway. The details about the getaway has to hold until a couple of days. First things first, the resolutions and my way of living upto them.
1) I am trying to incorporate everyday simple exercising routine into my lifestyle. I wake up early to do some yoga and meditation. Whenever I am by my self ( without the stroller) I prefer taking the steps than to the elevator. Since I love to dance, I am planning on taking up some dance classes in the spring.
2) Reading everyday can be a challenge especially on the nights when Ribhya decides to hang out with daddy for a longer time than usual. Despite I am half way through reading this book titled ” Yes, You Can….Raise Financially Aware Kids” . Kapil bought this book as a gift for me and his clients too. So far I love this book. Will sure like to do a lil book discussion with you all sometime.
3) Exploring a new country- haven’t thought about it, still an unmet resolution.
4) Saving more for the dream house- the most sought after goal in my list. With some other fellow bloggers I am going on a month long shopping ban after the 10th of this month. Why after the 10th, coz I have all rational plans of shopping the much anticipated PRABAL GURUNG COLLECTION FOR TARGET which launches on the 10th morning. After that I will not be shopping ( for myself) for 30 days….
5) Weather permitting Ribhya and I try to go out pretty much every day. We are trying to set up a kid’s play date area in our building. She already has a list of activities lined up for the coming spring months, which means I’ll have to be on the move all the time….
6) Being more FASHIONABLE and AWESOME than last year is ongoing and happens every day….
Thanks for all your love, support and encouragement.
