An old skirt with a new twist
I have to admit that it feels awesomely refreshing to be back to the world of blogging after days of uninformed absence. Last couple of weeks had been so busy ( exhausting undoubtedly) with Ribhya’s post and pre birthday preps that I did not have much time to blog. But now as the hangover is over and I have recovered from the exhaustion, I feel exuberant and full of life.Hope this week will permit regular everyday posting.
In preparation of today’s outfit, all my excitement faded into nothing, as I stood gazing at my closet that looked old and cold to me.I looked and looked hoping something would pop out and say ” I AM NEW , WEAR ME !!! “. But all hopes in vain. Nothing seemed enticing enough . I kept on trying pieces that did not appeal to me either coz they were ill-fitted or not new. Result, now I have a bed full of clothes and bags that need to be put back into the closet…..deep sigh !!!!!!!!
Nonetheless, I managed to find this tropical skirt in my skirt pile which seemed to have some potential. I had worn this back in summer (here), and now as I wanted to give the winter flair to it, I wore the yellow tutleneck. To top off, the faux fur scarf came along. The scarf was my Black Friday purchase, no score just a random purchase. As it had gotten dark and cold outside, we took the pictures on my floor hallway. Not so bright but still doable.
Hope you like the twist to my summer skirt..
