purple , polka and prints
When I bought this skirt last week , I was skeptical about keeping it coz of the pleated details around the waist. As I am still struggling to loose the baby fat, I kind of lean towards buying skirts and dresses that are loose but just fitted around the belly all in a good way. The moment I spotted the skirt on the clearance rack, I knew it was coming home with me . I bought the skirt without even trying it back in the store, but when I put this on at home, to my surprise it totally worked on me. It has the pleats but those are so thin and closely overlapped that they fall smooth and not bulky. Moreover the silky fabric weighs down the pleats. Even on the days when you feel bloated or eat a huge lunch , the untucked fitted top would work the magic in keeping the pleats tamed down. Another plus , being a solid color I get a wide array of mix n match options . So the skirt is definitely a keep. Verdict passed , the skirt and it’s fit issue stands resolved…..So Far !!!!
