Happy Tuesday Lovelies!
I am a sucker for prints, patterns and textures and fall/winter is the season when you could get the best of all textured and patterned clothing. I bought this plaid tweed top in a whim, completely unsure of it’s sartorial viability – but I am amazed how well it paired with the first thing I pulled out of my closet- this skirt!
After the last time I wore the skirt on the blog here, I had been looking forward to putting together a more monochromatic, in-shades-of-green kind of look and this top just served the purpose. The top appears more grey, but trust me – it’s a shade of green, even the website claims so. Whatsoever, the green on green with a dash of neon makes the outfit everything but boring. With it’s 45% wool composition, the top is definitely winter-appropriate, but the short sleeve makes it wearable all fall/winter long. The lace detailing on the bottom, totally unexpected, is an added bonus.
In a nutshell: I am in love with this top and can’t wait to style it differently.
