With summer coming to a close soon, you must have already received your share of party invitations for the season. A summer wedding/party is always fun, but when it is outside in the sweltering heat, the sartorial question of “what to wear” is bound to cool down all your enthusiasm. Staying cool without compromising on style becomes a challenge. So what do you do then ???-“Well, you wear pretty dresses with even prettier open bow backs. “

With the heat wave in full swing, dressing appropriately to avoid any melting away needs some brainstorming. But a simple guideline, and you could be the best dressed any day.
- choose the fabric wisely– for an all outdoor party, a breathable fabric like a chiffon, summer-knit or a cotton-blend would be apt. If the party happens to be indoors, then a summer-silk or even crepe could work.
- no-white to a wedding – when choosing what to wear, it is advisable to steer clear from wearing white, coz you definitely don’t want to steal the show from the bride. But if you are really compelled, go for a printed one, it will make your look more wedding-guest like.
- go for that extra plunge– summer is all about flaunting your sweated-out in the gym back and arms, so why not go for something that is a bit extra kinky, but not too trashy. How about a deep-v-bow-back dress ????
- opt for open-toe-sandals– sweat-proof any day, sandals will go a long way with all that standing-during-the-ceremony and dancing-your-night-away. Bonus they look chic !!!!
- keep your hair pulled up– a half hair updo, or even a fully pulled up tied hair would go with any evening look. Not only does it add drama to any outfit, there is less frizz and unruliness.
- go for one statement jewelry piece– a pair of rhinestone chandelier earrings would be a smarter choice. A necklace might make you break a sweat or two, but a pair of statement earrings would add that pizazz without making you melt away.
Have a great day loves….
