How many times have you stepped out of the house, done all your work, came home just to realize ‘that the price tag of your blouse was still attached??’ Well, I am guilty of this one and I would like you to raise your hand if you are guilty of the above or any of the following fashion and lifestyle habit.
1) Are you guilty of visible contour lines?? : it was just about the other day that I was browsing through my photo archives and I noticed brown lines along my cheeks, not just in one photo but several photos. Those brown lines were none other than the nasty contour lines. As I kept scrolling my thoughts were” oh lord, can someone please bring me a beauty blender and rescue me from the makeup blunders I’ve done in the past” !

2) Are you guilty of leaving your price tags attached?: happened to me a few times. Once I left the ‘size 27’ sticker on my jeans, without even realizing, until Ribhya pulled it out in the evening, after I came back from work…I’ll blame it entirely on that transparent ticket, they just camouflage.
3) Are you guilty of wearing torn tights? – one morning right before leaving home to run some errands, I wore a cord mini skirt, a matching sweater and a pair of black tights and raced to Ribhya’s room to make her hair. Thereafter, I fixed my hair, threw on my boots and headed out. As soon as I sat in the car, I noticed a small hole in my tights. As there was no time to change, I pulled my tights a tad bit up to hide the snag and drove to the mall. To my disappointment every time I would bend or move in a rush , the hole would stretch. Eventually the hole got so big and bad that I had to get rid of the tights at the mall and cut my trip short.
4) Are you guilty of leaving the skirt/jacket vent stitches intact? – What is it? An ‘X’ of thread that seals the vent on your blazer or hem of the skirt. It is an easy fix- just snip the thread and pull it out gently, so as not damage the fabric. Call me a fashion police but I have a major problem with people leaving the vent stitches intact, to an extent that on several occasions I’ve stopped strangers on the streets to pull out these X stitches. I am not guilty of this one but my husband sure is.
5) Are you guilty of leaving your kitchen sink loaded with dishes? – it happened more frequently after the first few weeks into quarantining. It took sometime for my mind and body to get acclimated to these new lifestyle, and call it clumsy or lack of interest- I would leave dirty dishes in the sink, overnight unattended. It soon became like a habit which I wasn’t happy with later on. Blame it on the hard work and tired body…, when both come together, overloaded sink becomes a frequent sighting. What say?
6) Are you guilty of losing your official documents over and over ? – Well, I know a person, a friend, who has lost his passport not once, not twice, but four times….can anyone beat that ??? Knock wood, I don’t want to jinx it, but I am very particular about my stuff. I would go beyond my capacity to make sure things are put back in the right spot after every use. This saves time and keeps your life organized when in a rush.
How many things are you guilty of? Is there any other habit of yours or others’ that you find extremely annoying?

Gorgeous outfit, Saumya! I love the combination of that beautiful shirt with your shimmery skirt and fab boots. I am definitely guilty of missing the transparent sticker tags on jeans! I also hate when you take photos and realize that your long necklace got all caught on your boobs! I am very diligent about removing the stitches from kick pleats! It is one of my pet peeves when I see others walking around with that big X stitch still there. Surprisingly, when I have let people know that they have forgotten to remove that stitching, most people don’t even realize that you are supposed to! They think it is part of the design! And I cannot tolerate dirty dishes in the sink, so an overflowing sink of dirty dishes just never sits around in my house. Fun post!

Thank you Shelbee. I totally get the feeling of spotting the X stitch on the streets. I was watching dynasty
the other day and the main lead actress had the stitches intact on her blazer and I was so frustrated…

I am guilty of leaving a price tag on (I’d removed one but didn’t realise there was an extra one on the bottom of my long dress) and I’ve left the vent stitches in a long coat – I only realised after we’d taken photos and I noticed it looked a bit odd! Needless to say, I’m super vigilant about these things now! Your outfit is beautiful! I love your jacket and it looks great belted!
